Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 will be released on October 5th, as announced by Warner Bros. Japan. The opening sequence, which featured “1” by MOB CHOIR, was also released on their official YouTube channel.
The upcoming third season will be available on Crunchyroll. The first two episodes debuted at Crunchyroll Expo 2022 on August 5.
Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan series composer and script) is back as series composer and writer, Shihoko Nakayama is the colour designer, Ryou Kouno is the art director, Mayuko Furumoto is the photography director, and Kenji Kawai (World Trigger music) is the music composer. Yuzuru Tachikawa, the director of the first two seasons of Mob Psycho 100, will be the chief director for Season 3, with Takahiro Hasui, the director of the Season 2 episode, taking over. Bones is the animation production studio once more.
About Mob Psycho 100
Mob Psycho 100 is one of the best character-driven anime in recent years. At a glance, it may appear similar to One-Punch Man because it was written by the same author but, they are unique in their own right.
It is about an Eighth-grader, Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, who has immense psychic powers. But, he soon realizes the potential dangers of his power and decides to suppress his abilities, his only current application for his ability is to impress his longtime crush, Tsubomi, who quickly grows tired of the same tricks.
Mob enlists under the wing of Arataka Reigen, a con artist claiming to be a psychic who exploits Mob’s powers for pocket change, in order to gain control of his abilities. Exorcising evil spirits on command has now become a part of Mob’s routine. However, his psychic energy is only the tip of the iceberg; if his vast potential and unrestrained emotions go berserk, a cataclysmic event will occur that will render him completely unrecognizable. Attempting to halt the progression toward the Mob’s explosion is futile.
